| So, I've finally thrown in the towel on my website. Well, more accurately I've admitted to myself that I will not be updating it and making it run the way I like any time soon. So, instead of beating my head against the wall with that some more I think I may see if I still have the internet blogging bug and revive this Xanga.
Anyway, Sam Briggs (roommate) had his birthday party last night which was a pretty good time. Pretty standard college party.
Tyler Hennon (roommate) moves in two weeks from Wednesday. I'm looking forward to him getting here so we can pick up where we left off last year duking it out in NCAA and Madden.
Brett Davis (roommate) should be moving in sometime soon, pending our flaky, bitchy landlady getting him the paperwork he needs.
I ordered a new computer on Friday, with financial help from Mom and Dad (an interest free loan). Should get here...Wednesday? Can't wait to get my hands on the parts and put them all together. I wanted a gaming laptop but I really am not in a position to afford one. So, I went ahead and got a desktop for 1/3rd of the price and maybe if I need a laptop for work or for class I'll get a nice compact one that has a long battery life that I'll basically just use for web access and Microsoft Office stuff.
I'm looking forward to getting the school year up and running. I really enjoy my job and the people at work, but I think I'm antsy to get my last (maybe?) year of school over with.
My birthday is soon which means...Benihana's! Being 22 will be...strange. I don't feel old or anything, but it is just strange to be in the area where there really isn't any advantage to being older. In fact, getting older just taxes your body more and more. Not that I think I'm going to fall apart at the hinges or anything when the clock strikes 12:00 am on October 1, but you know what I mean.
Speaking of falling apart...my rehab is chugging along. My hip still hurts like a bitch, especially after doing my exercises, but that is to be expected. My physical therapist says it can take months and months to get over these kinds of injuries (I think she said it took her a year and a half to get over her's). So...yeah, I just hope I can stick with it. I look forward to the day when I can sleep on either side of my body without pain and sit in a chair without having to constantly shift my weight to keep the pain subsided. Can't wait until we get a freezer so I can actually ice it when it is hurting.
My room is a wreck at the new house. I desperately need my desk but I don't really have a way to bring it down. I'll eventually need my bed, but like the desk I don't really have a way to get it down here. Maybe when Brett comes down I can piggyback a few things onto his load.
I think the SRC (Student Recreation Center, aka the UO gym) opens up again on Monday. That'll be nice, I've been feeling a little lazy and rundown lately. Need to go get jacked and tan!

| I've decided to switch the name of my xanga, so I created a new one. It looks exactly the same but I think the name better represents me. www.xanga.com/asarcasticmind . Read the post there for a better explanation. |

| I have decided that I am going to try and drop CAD 3 because.....I want to. I want to have another period to do my homework in and I don't want to do CAD work any more. Hopefully my parents wont shaft me by making me take it. God dammit....just like last year...lets hope...hope! we always have hope. |
